Bantwal, Mar 29: An official of Mescom, who was transferred to Vittal from Raichur division has gone missing. A missing case was registered on Wednesday March 28 in this connection at Vittal police station.
Karthik, working as assistant engineer for Mescom, hails from Tiptur. Vasant, who was discharging duties at Mescom's Vittal office, was transferred to Panemangalore office and Karthik was transferred from Raichur as replacement. Karthik reported for work on Tuesday March 27. On Wednesday however, he left abruptly leaving his resignation letter at the office. Thereafter, he could not be contacted.
As per legal requirement, Vittal's assistant executive engineer has filed a missing complaint at Vittal police station and investigation has been set into motion.
