Four killed in Agra road accident


Agra, March 29 (IANS): Four students were killed after their car fell into a 20-feet-deep drain here, police said.

The accident took place on Wednesday evening when the driver of the speeding car hit the railing of the drain, the police said.

A senior police official jumped into the stinking drain to save the students.

With the help of others, he pulled out the bodies. All the four students were rushed to a hospital where they were declared dead.

The deceased were identified with the help of their Aadhaar cards and student IDs.

Parents who arrived at the police station said they did not know where their kids had gone and with whom.
