Udupi: Vakwady Gurukula student Rakshan bags first rank in international Olympiad

Udupi, Apr 1: In a remarkable achievement, Kumar Rakshan Kundapur, a 6th standard student of Gurukula Educational Institute, Vakwady, has secured 99.77% marks in national level competitive examination conducted by prestigious International Olympiad and has bagged a rank.

He has also prepared for final level examination that will be held in New Delhi. Appreciating the effort, the organization has awarded a cash prize of Rs 15,000 to him.

Rakshan is the first among three students selected from the state. His parents, school head and teachers have congratulated him. He is being trained to secure first rank in final phase of the examination.
