Cong-free India merely political slogan, RSS is inclusive: Mohan Bhagwat

Pune, Apr 1 (PTI): Underlining the RSS's "inclusive" character, its chief Mohan Bhagwat on Monday said slogans like 'Congress-mukt Bharat' were mere political phrases and not part of the language of the Sangh.

Top brass of the BJP, which considers the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as its ideological mentor, has often talked about a 'Congress-free India'.

"These are political slogans. It is not the language of the RSS. The word 'mukt' (free or liberated) is used in politics. We never use the language of excluding anyone.

"We have to include everyone in the process of nation building including those who oppose us," Bhagwat said at a book launch function in Pune.

Speaking in parliament in February, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said he was pursuing Mahatma Gandhi's dream of a 'Congress-mukt Bharat' and accused the grand old party of eulogising the Gandhi family when in power, at the cost of the country's development.

Bhagwat was in the city to launch six books written by Dnyaneshwar Mulay, a 1983-batch Indian Foreign Service officer, who is currently secretary (Consular, Passport, Visa and Overseas Indian Affairs) in the Ministry of External Affairs.

Stressing the need for a "positive approach" to bring about change, the RSS chief said those with a negative approach would think only of conflicts and divisions.

"Such a person is not at all useful in the process of nation-building," he said.

The Sangh chief also said one of the ways of looking at Hindutva was having faith in oneself, one's family and the country.

"If one has faith in himself, his family and the country, he can work towards inclusive nation-building process," he said.

Praising Mulay for his efforts to reach out to the common man through his work, Bhagwat said the country needed officers like him who were connected with their motherland.

Mr.Mohan Bhagwat, what are you saying... Instead of watching the minds of others, watch yourself and see what good you can do for people now on. We are all Indians, people of many caste and trying to live in unity inspite of storms. So do not do something against the heart of people of this country. Allow people to come up in their lives as there may be someone who can really be human, walk with the people and in coordination, rule the country for the betterment of people. So be positive and allow the goodness to come in by the grace of God. Remember we have only one God who has created you and us.. Let there be peace among the people...

Past four years RSS never said they were against Congress mukt Bharat. How come they woke up now ? Yes is it because RSS is sensing increasing negative public sentiment against the BJP and making this U-turn ? Also it is sensed that the Congress party is beginning to become a serious threat for LS 2019 and EVMs and back door methods cannot bail the BJP out every time.

Their strategy is known for infiltrating agencies, institutions, political parties to either manipulate them, control them or destroy them. All opposition parties must be alert to this 24X7.
They can try to even infiltrate the judiciary and cannot be trusted at all ever. Wolves in sheep's clothing.

Cong-free India merely political slogan. What about Hindu Dalits comparison to 'Dogs' Mr. Mohan Bhagwat?
Is Dalit's are inclusive in Hindu Rashtra with equal rights of Brahmins?
Is 'Baswa Tattwa' can eradicate untouchability why 'Lingayat' can't be given separate minority status?

Bhagwat Ji, Across the country, the BJP has fought elections by giving tickets to rebel Congress leaders rather than its own party cadre. Amit Shah's Idea of a 'Congress-Free India' one where BJP is full of Congress leaders?
In reality leaders from Congress joining BJP has made 'RSS- Mukut India'.
