Mysuru, Apr 1: People who tried to visit the Mysuru city police official website on Sunday April 1 were shocked when they were directed to a page showing faceless people stamping the Indian flag.

The portal was hacked by some miscreants, and the website flashed messages ‘Pakistan Zindabad’, ‘Mysuru City Police website - Govt of India # hacked’ upon logging in.

Mysuru residents immediately brought the issue to the notice of the police, after which the post was removed.

The website is now functioning normally.

In a similar case, the website of Mysuru district police had been hacked in November 2017.

In a startling revelation, a former BJP IT cell member has claimed that the whole BJP IT cell operates from the BJP head office 24 Ashoka Road, where around 300 people work, who perpetuate the propaganda and add fake content through the fake accounts, which later gets shared through the Facebook, WhatsApp and Twitter.

BJP IT cell, wherein they create famous fan pages on social media with trending names like ‘I support Indian Army’. A similar account named ‘I support Narendra Modi’ has around 15 million fan following and there are around 20 thousand such pages and over 300 fake news portal operated by the BJP IT cell workers.

On the question regarding his responsibility in the IT Cell, Mahavir said, his main job was to ‘troll’ by adding the controversial terms like ‘Dalit‘, ‘Hindu‘ and ‘Musalman‘ in the content of the news, irrespective of the topic, that would provoke people.

BJP has 20k Facebook pages and 300 fake news portals and even On Twitter, PM Modi has 20 million fake followers.
In JNU this 'Digital India' of PM Modi's social media cottage industry superimposed the slogans. In recently held Araria bye poll victory rally they have done too which resulted in communal tensions.

As Karnataka state assembly elections are going to be closing in BJP which failed in all policies, it is going back to its old tradition of communal polarization for the vote bank.

At the phase of communal tensions happening around India, Pakistan don't need to do anything which Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is doing it.

When BJP's IT cell member can pass can work for ISI passing India's defence secretes 'Pakistan Zindabad' on Mysore city police is not difficult.

I appeal all Kannadigas to remain vigilant on social media forwards and report immediately any such instigating trolls to the nearest law enforcement department.
We Kannadigas want 'real development. Not communal development.
