New Delhi, Apr 2 (DHNS): Oil marketing companies have cut prices of non-subsidised cooking gas cylinder (LPG) by Rs 35.50.

The revised rates are effective from April 1, the country's largest state-owned oil marketing firm Indian Oil Corporation said on Monday.

After the price cut, a 14.2 kg non-subsidised cooking gas cylinder will be now sold for Rs 653.50 in Delhi as against Rs 689 per cylinder.

The revised price of non-subsidised LPG cylinder in Kolkata is Rs 676. In Mumbai, it is Rs 625 per cylinder and the non-subsidised refill in Chennai will now be sold at Rs 663.50.

The IOCL said it has also cut the rates of subsidised LPG refills marginally by Rs 1.74 per cylinder.

The price of a subsidised LPG refill will now be Rs 491.35 in Delhi as against Rs 493 earlier.

IOCL also cut the jet fuel prices by Rs 231 in Delhi. Jet fuel will now be sold at Rs 61,450 per/kl in Delhi.

In Kolkata, the new rate will be Rs 65,985 per/kl, in Mumbai Rs 61,025 per/kl and in Chennai, the rate will be Rs 61,615 per /kl.

However, there is no respite to consumers from high petrol and diesel prices.
