Chandrasekhar, who was the NDA’s vice chairperson in Kerala during the assembly elections in 2016 and even campaigned for the BJP.Although Chandrasekhar identifies himself as an independent MP, his association with the BJP-led NDA is not a secret anymore. Not too long ago, he had actively campaigned for the NDA in Kerala assembly elections in May 2016.
His ‘independence’ had also come under intense scrutiny in 2016 when an email sent by Amit Gupta, the Chief Operating Officer of Jupiter Capital, was leaked to media. Chandrasekhar owns his media ventures that includes Asianet in Kerala and Suvarna News and Kannada Prabha in Karnataka.
But i always thought Rajeev were a staunch BJP supporter. Wasn't it a conflict of interest earlier? If not legal, moral?
More power without accountability- just the sort of arrangement that suits him.He must have resigned from the board of 'Republic' but he should also disclose your share holding in republic & prove that you have no association with their views & broadcasting patterns.

What about his investment? If he control the money he control the chanel.
Republic is the another paid TV Channel of the BJP ideology in which even Manipal group Mohandas Pai is also share holder.

No wonder he resigned ..most disgusting Channel . Branded as news means shouting. it should be banned. rest of the investors also should be ashamed to invest in such kind of shouting TV channel. some time they themselves come and participate in one sided shouting agenda. when they were successful in their 2g agenda for the govt change, Obviously Rai became bcci chief. Rajeev became Rajya sabha member. they all got their share. Go-swamy will for get for all the shouting. in the present world everybody has an agenda, they take their share. Rajeev got what its due for his contribution. there are rest rest waiting.
