"BJP is already confirm with their candidates’ defeat, hence are supporting independent candidates with the only intension of defeating me. They know that a large number of teachers are coming forward to support me. Meanwhile, many have questioned Capt Ganesh Karnik on his tenure. He does not have any answers as he did nothing good for teachers in his tenure. So he is now supporting independent candidates against me. He has assured them all type of financial help,” alleged Manjunath.
