Panaji: Archbishop Ferrao Expresses Solidarity with Victims of Orissa Carnage

Panaji, Aug 28: The Goa church has voiced its concern over the attacks on people as well as the  vandalism and arson of Christian institutions in Orissa. 

Archibishop Filipe Neri Ferrao echoed the feelings voiced by the conference of bishops and expressed solidarity with the victims, in a statement issued by the church.

The Archibishop has appealed for prayers that peace may soon be restored in Orissa and that all may work hand in hand to create an environment of mutual trust and respect for the life and dignity of every human.
