Army officer injured in Pakistani firing


Jammu, Apr 6 (IANS): An Army officer was injured in Pakistani firing on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district.

Defence Ministry sources said the Major was injured late Thursday evening.

"The officer deployed in forward area of Nowshera sector sustained a splinter injury in his feet. He was shifted to hospital for treatment," an official said.
