New Delhi, April 12 (IANS): It was sunny Thursday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 17.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, the weather office said.
"It will be a generally cloudy sky towards the evening with chances of development of thunderstorm and very light rains. The rainfall recorded in past 24 hours was 5.4 mm," an India Meteorological Department official (IMD) told IANS.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 32 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 67 per cent.
Wednesday's maximum temperature settled at 33.4 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 23.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.
