Kasargod, Apr 12: One and half-year-old Sanif, son of Saifuddin - Naseema couple from Madhur Patla, died after falling into a well on Wednesday April 11.
Naseema had come to her parental home along with children on account of holiday season. Sanif, who was playing with other children, went missing all of a sudden. Thereafter, the family went searching for him, and found that he had drowned in a nearby well.
The fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and brought the child out of the well. Although the child was admitted into the hospital, nothing could be done to save it.
