Mangaluru: Fun filled 'BIT and BEADS - UTSAV' to be held on Apr 14

Mangaluru, Apr 13: The vision of Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT), in the city is to contribute significantly to a progressive, peaceful world and create leaders in every field of technology. BIT and BEADS will usher in BIT and BEADS - UTSAV 2018 packed with fabulous events and competitions on April 14 at 10.30 am at the college campus.

This is the ninth year of the fest spread over for the entire day with fun-filled fabulous events and competitions. The festival will attract participation from colleges in the city.

The day's extravaganza will include a power-packed live performance by BIT BAND and a captivating performance by the students at the inaugural ceremony. Flower arrangement, ethnic, quiz, mono act, rangoli, pick and speak, dubbing, poetry, pencil sketch, standup comedy, mehendi, movie making presentation, debate, painting, treasure hunt, clay modeling, dance, singing (solo and group) will be some of the events at the fest.

The chief guest Dr A K Suresh, deputy director, IIT Mumbai. will inaugurate the fest, Annapurna A, director HR, Inspirage Software Consulting Pvt Ltd, Bengaluru and Satish Honnakkatte, chief mechanical engineer, New Mangalore Port Trust, Mangaluru will be the guests of honor, chairman of Bearys Group of Learning Syed Beary will preside over the function. Dr Raikar S K, senior advisor, will be present to grace the occasion. Dr Antony A J will present the annual report.

The fest will conclude with the National Anthem.
