Bengaluru: Men's rights NGO to field independents in elections

Bengaluru, Apr 15 (DHNS): Men's rights NGO, Save Indian Family Foundation (SIFF), will field Satish Babu, an engineer, as an independent candidate from the BTM Layout Assembly constituency.

The SIFF has more plans for the upcoming election. Anil Kumar, the founder of the foundation, said at a press conference: "We plan to field candidates in other constituencies and spread awareness about the NOTA option in the constituencies where we will not field any candidate."

Giving an insight into SIFF's agenda, he added, "In the name of women's empowerment, men are ignored in all fields, even by police and the judiciary. False accusations on men are on the rise as well. There are laws supporting women, but there is no law to support men, which is unfair. We have decided to stand for men's rights through this election," he said.
