BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj inaugurates nightclub in Lucknow, sparks row

Lucknow, Apr 16 (Zee News): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Sakshi Maharaj has sparked a row by inaugurating a nightclub in Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. According to reports, the controversial BJP MP inaugurated a nightclub at a complex in Aliganj area of Lucknow.

The nightclub, called Let’s Meet, was inaugurated by Sakshi Maharaj reportedly on Sunday. The nightclub is located on the second floor of Jeet Plaza near Ram Ram Bank crossing in Aliganj area of the Uttar Pradesh capital. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held for the inauguration of the club.

This has raised several eyebrows as Sakshi Maharaj represents Unnao in Lok Sabha, and the development comes amid country-wide uproar over alleged rape of a woman by BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar and death of her father in judicial custody in Unnao.

Sakshi Maharaj has often grabbed headlines for his controversial remarks. Few months back, he had blamed “vulgar behaviour” by couples at public places for rapes. "Girls and boys' vulgar behaviour at public places leads to rape and they should be put behind bars," he had said.

"When these couples ride a motorcycle, they hug each other as if they both will eat each other. Similarly, couples can be seen behaving in a vulgar fashion in cars, parks and other places," he said.

In the past, he has also supported Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Insan, who is a rape convict and currently serving a jail term. "While one person had alleged rape against the Dera chief, but crores of devotees believe he is God," he had said while coming out in defence of Ram Rahim.

    Mr. Ivar.
you replied to one of the comments saying you dont oppose bars/nightclubs etc.
Let me remind you. two days back you only had replied to my comment regarding moral police in other news saying """parties and clubs are a place where probability of rapes are high so moral police go to such places and disrupt the program""".
and now how come you are defending this matter?? you are just twisting your own opinion saying its a progressive step since its done by sakshi maharaj.
Clearly you showd your double standards,
    Bhakths grow up.

Hahahaha...LOL wearing saffron dress and inaugurating Night Club (Let's Meet..oh oh oh), just imagine how it would be (can anyone share the video pls). As s human being there is nothing wrong inaugurating anything but when you preach pls practice the same, otherwise do not preach. This man in saffron all the time talking and preaching (provoking!!) about desi culture blah blah blah and now he trapped himself. So most of the things happens in India is politics only and nothing genuine whether it's "Karma" or "Dharma".
    God bless my (our) India.

If others do -then Anti Hindu/ Against Indian Culture.
If BJp does the same thing- then Progressive and Innovative.

BLACK MARKS....and Minus point for BJP

    1. Sakshi Maharaj is giving wrong signal to public..confusing everyone...

    2. UP rape and Custody murder.... Definitely this incident will shake Yogi Adityanath and his Government for not giving justice to victims..and protecting accused or showing sympathy to accused BJP MLA

    3. Aisfa rape and Murder ...Government acts as if it is a normal or routine issue...after Asifa, 3 minor children under the age of 10 were gang raped and killed...one in Surat was kept in secret room and raped and killed..Doctors found out 86 wounds on her body...Even animals don't do like this...

Note: Children rapists must be hanged...it should not be only on records or paper..Execution must be carried out immediately after the verdict...See, Nirbhaya case, accused were given death sentence...but still in jail..rape is going on all over India....Government and Supreme Court must do something to protect our children.. In Nirbhaya case, BJP did politics , in Asifa case, Congress and non BJP parties are doing politics... poor innocent people are helpless..
