Beltangady: Motor bike skid causes death of man

Beltangady, Apr 16: The rider of a motor bike died after the vehicle he was riding on skidded, late night of Saturday April 14 at Nairgudde near Ninnikallu in Laila village in the taluk.

The deceased was Muhammed Haneef (48), resident of Ghousia Masjid on Court Road here.

Haneef had taken a friend living near Ninnikallu on his motor bike. After dropping his friend at his home on Saturday night, he was returning when he lost control over the vehicle at Nairgudde near Ninnikallu. He fell onto the road and suffered grave injuries on the back of his head. On account of the grave injury, he bled and died on the spot. A local, who was returning home after attending a programme at night, saw injured Haneef and alerted the locals.

Muhammed was a painter of vehicles. He worked at Brothers Garage, Laila. A case about the incident was registered at the town police station here.
