Dharwad: Rahul's aircraft facing problems - aviation industry objects to police case

Daijiworld Media Network - Dharwad (SP)

Dharwad, May 1: The nation's aviation industry has criticized Karnataka police for registering case against pilots in connection with problems encountered by the special aircraft carrying Congress Party's national president, Rahul Gandhi, to Hubballi, during its flight and landing.

Business Aircraft Operators Association has pointed out that Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) happens to be the only competent authority that is empowered with undertaking investigations on such incidents. The association has urged the concerned not to politicize the issue at any cost. It noted that DGCA already has appointed a two-member committee to investigate the said issue.

The aircraft, 'Falcon 2000', which was bringing Rahul Gandhi to Hubballi from New Delhi had encountered some problems on the way and had tilted midway. During its landing, the aircraft had again faced problems. The aircraft belonging to M/s Ligear Aviation had succeeded in landing at Hubballi in its third attempt. Some Congress workers had filed police complaint in Gokul station at Hubballi about this incident. The company, in its report to DGCA, had said that the flight encountered problems because of certain complications in the operation of auto pilot system of the aircraft and that the aircraft came under control after the pilot changed the mode to manual mode.

A senior DGCA official said that failure of auto mode is not a new phenomenon and that DGCA undertakes detailed investigation in all cases of problems relating to operation of aircrafts. The official said that DGCA will act upon the investigation report expected to be submitted by a two-member committee formed by DGCA in about two to three weeks time.

Like the CBI which is becoming a BJP poodle, the DGCA is also a body which can be manipulated by the Civil Aviation Ministry of the Central Government. It is good that Karnataka Police have taken over the case to monitor and render justice. The culprits should be brought to book in this serious case involving the life of a National Leader.

Raul Vinci Khan and his stooges are trying to garner sympathy votes .After being routed in 22 states, they have now thought of this ploy as well. As long as RVK is in the fray, there is no problem for BJP.
He is their star campaigner with entertainment as a bonus.

    Agreed.

But what is the fear in lodging a simple formality of a police case right on time so that some investigations and proof of filing date and time of the incident which is 'bizzare' and 'very serious in nature' . It is the threat to life of one more Gandhi.
Let us follow the country's legal systems to get the justice and truth come out naturally because today forget police even our sacrosanct utmost judiciary (Supreme Court) is also in crossroads after DAAKHU and FEKHU set a wrong precedent by interfering in topmost judiciary by fixing their own interested judges to get what kind of justice???

DAAKHU has washed his hands to almost in his case by stage managing his sin but FEKHU is anyways famous worldwide after Gujarath(Godhra) riots...but both cannot wash sins in the eyes of Paramatma.

There is no doubt that the pilots should be investigated but they should be cleared or charged within a week as it can be established technically within few days if it was techinical issue or not.
