Udupi, May 4: Madhukara Mudradi, president of district unit of Shiv Sena and candidate from Udupi Assembly constituency said that voters should ignore fraud Hindutva supporters and vote for Shiv Sena.

Addressing media on Thursday, May 3, he said, “BJP uses the ideologies of Hindutva only for elections and later ignores Hindus. It is not only turning into Congress, but also ignoring people like Dr Praveen Bhai Togadia, Pramod Mutalik, and L K Advani who actually worked hard for Hindutva and its principles. Prime Minister Narendra Modi finds former prime minister Deve Gowda and former chief minister S M Krishna as great citizens, but what about the supporters of Hindutva who fought for Hindutva ideologies? What was their mistake? None of the BJP candidates or leaders campaigning here have mentioned about providing justice to Dr Chittaranjan, Gunakar Shetty, Polali Anantu, Sudhakar Poojary and others who sacrificed their life for Hindutva. Even after coming to power, why did Jagannath Shetty not reveal the commission report?

“Shiv Sena is fielding 40 candidates in Karnataka this elections. Candidates of Shiv Sena will be supported by Sri Rama Sene. Chief Pramod Mutalik and Sri Sri Siddalinga Swamiji will ask campaign for Shiv Sena.

Speaking on the aims of Shiv Sena, he said, “Our first goal is ‘Sundara Udupi-Krishna’s Udupi’. We aim to solve the issues of water scarcity. We will build accommodation for tourists.” He also spoke about ‘Deen Bandhu Yojana’ for immigrant workers. He further said that all 8th standard and above students will be given free laptops. He also spoke about ‘Veerkesari Yojane’ for activists of Hindu organisations.
