New Delhi, May 6 (IANS): The national capital woke up to a sunny Sunday morning with the minimum temperature recorded at 26.5 degree Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 39 degrees Celsius, according to the Met Office. The air-quality ranged from moderate to poor at different parts of the city.
There were chances of rains in Delhi, while a dust and thunder storm may hit the national capital in the next 24 hours.
"There are chances of rains at different areas of the city... There are possibilities of thunder storm and dust storm towards Monday," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official told IANS.
The humidity at 8 a.m. was 70 per cent.
Saturday's maximum temperature was recorded at 39.1 degrees, while the minimum temperature was 25.6 degrees.
