Mumbai, May 8: Committee of Kachuru Nageshwara temple, Udupi performed Brahmakalashotsava here on May 7. Religious rituals were held in the morning and the hall programme was held in the evening.

Bhandary Mahamandala president Sadashiva Bhandary Sakleshpura, guests of honour, entrepreneurs Suresh S Kanchan, Pradeepchandra Kuthpady, Bhandary Seva Samiti Mumbai president, advocate Shekar S Bhandary, former president, advocate Sundar G Bhandary, film actor Kadandale Saurabh S Bhandary and others were present.

Bhandary Seva Samiti and Bhandary community members in Mumbai presented a cultural programme under the direction of committee convener Jayasheela Bhandary.

The programme was set in motion after prayers to Kachuru Nageshwara deity. Brahmakalashotsava committee convener Madhava Bhandary Kolooru welcomed everyone. Nageshwara temple service trust honorary secretary Somashekar M Bhandary delivered the keynote address. Office bearers presented flower bouquets and mementos to the guests and honoured them.

Sandhya Bhandary Ulaibettu introduced the guests and compered the programme.
