Mangaluru, May 8: BJP national president Amit Shah, who was scheduled to arrive in the city for a press meet at 1 pm, cancelled his plans, infuriarating mediapersons who waited for his arrival for over two hours.
Amit Shah was supposed to address a press meet at a private hotel.
The mediapersons in the city waited for his arrival, but even after two hours, there was no sign of the BJP supremo.
Finally, he arrived at the hotel, met the mediapersons and told them that he would not be addressing any press meet.
Instead, he proceeded to Thokkottu for his road show, and told the mediapersons to cover his programme there.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik apologised to the mediapersons, who left the premises in anger.
Nalin Kumar Kateel said that Amit Shah's road shows at Kavoor and PVS areas will go on as planned in the evening.
