Udupi: Congress will get absolute majority in Karnataka, no worries - Ghulam Nabi Azad

Udupi, May 9: “Congress will get absolute majority in Karnataka. We do not have any worries about it,” said senior Congress leader and former Union minister Ghulam Nabi Azad here on Wednesday, May 9.

Addressing the media, he continued, “I know the history of Karnataka elections very well. Congress will form the government here. Lot of people asks me if we will fall short of some seats, what we are going to do? I reply that I am of the opinion that we have a strong base and people will select us just like they did 5 years ago for a simple reason that we are contesting elections on the basis of performance and we are way ahead of other political parties. Unlike other parties, particularly BJP, we do not believe in hollow slogans nor do we believe in false promises,”

“When we ruled at the Centre, we made less promises, but we delivered 10 times more than what we had promised. Nowhere in the world could one scheme provide employment opportunities to unskilled workers to the tune of 13 crore people. As a result rural economy flourished. We did bring RTI and right to education and also National Rural Health Mission. We did all of these without promising,” he added.

“Today at national level the BJP and our honourable Prime Minister promise the moon. Modi wave is no more a positive force now, but a negative one. He does not deliver anything he promises. JD(S) is not at all a threat to us anymore,” he continued.

“BJP has failed miserably in the Centre for the past 4 years. Siddaramaiah has given the stable and effective government in Karnataka. He has given rice at Re 1 and free milk and food for school going kids. Most of the schemes promised have been implemented,” he informed.

“Congress does not believe in dividing people in the name of religion unlike BJP. Religion is private and it must be respected. It cannot be linked to politics. This is the basic difference between Congress and BJP,” Azad said.

Udupi district president of Congress Janardhan Thonse and chairman of minorities’ development M A Gafur, Dominic and Harish Shetty were present.

Agree the BJP just indulges in hollow promises and even the PM does not hesitate to indulge in open lies. The Central Govt and the BJP ruled states are just drifting with no Governance as the PM and all the state Govts are perpetually in election mode All their Govts are in Auto Pilot Mode and the country is just drifting aimlessly.

Not one achievements of the central Govt is being mentioned in spite of four years of rule, Where is the Gujarat Model of Devlopment basis which they won the last general elections, where are the jobs modi promised, what about corruption, it is flourishing under Modi rule as there is no accountability. What about Law and Order, it is sinking and rapes against women are being reported every day.

Modi remains Silent on all issues facing the common man and so all the fringe elements are setting the agenda for the country. Yogi has nothins to show about UP as the country knows of total chaos happenning in UP. YOGI comes in safron clothes to expliot religon for political purposes as he has nothing to show case about UP except totoal chaos and mis administration.

People of Karnataka will give a befitting reply to the BJP and Modi, Yogi and Amit Shah will face their waterloo in Karnataka before all southern states discard them in their elections.

Siddaramiah has provided an Able and Stable administration with Peace, Harmony and all round Devloment. He definately is the Best Chief Minister in the country and the Karnataka model of Devlopment can be the Blue Print for the overall devlopment of other states and the country.

Desh Ko Bachao. Modi, Yogi Aur Amit Shah Ko Baghao.

You are a real Modi disciple in creating fake stories. But in reality, now India is looked down as country where the minorities and Dalits are persecuted. In the Christian countries, the persecution of the Christians under the Modi regime is getting as tormenting news.

Hubli dharwad its congress.Belagavi also ... Hyderabad Karnataka no doubt about it.
Only we have to see Ballari ,Badami.Because we don't know to what extent Reddy bros have lured people with his loot money.

Jo bhik gaya so bhik gaya, but anyone with self respect remaining in Ballari will also not vote for Ba Ja Pa.

We are not worried about their favouring for one cmmunity. We understand you are majority and every country has such religious backed political party.

They are doing it snce 1990s ,our problem is BaJaPa is no more to even majorities, its for corporate people in high level.

As a result rich will get only rich and we become more poor. This results monetary imbalance of the country and finally lead to 10people ruling 100crore people.

Tell me how many hindu residents, hindu temples have been upgraded.Ella puksate swamy.
Do you want Iraq leadership .didn't you see What was the result of Saddam Hussain's Golden statue .Every street in Iraq was with rich mighty people .And so many of his statue arose .Finally people realised and who took advantage ,what happened to their leader??

Same thing you are also making you are hailing now one person , very soon statues will also be formed .So many corporates will back him ....but when the time comes it is his own people will ditch him.

We neither want his destruction nor his statues as normal Indian PM he enjoyed 5years .Good for him.Now like everyone let him settleback.

We want our money tax money equally get distributed. And this time Congress have learnt its mistakes from past.So it ll support us .By Us i mean all Indians ...no foul play in it.
