Ramanagara, May 13: “I am confidence of becoming the next chief minister of Karnataka and we will surprise everyone on May 15,” said JD(S) Karnataka state president H D Kumaraswamy.

Speaking to news reporters here on Saturday May 12 , he expressed his confidence that JD(S) will come to power with majority.

“The people of Karnataka have already taken a decision and will bless JD(S) party. We will make everybody astonished on May 15,”

Reacting to the reference to several surveys by the reporters, he said that the reports of surveys will take a U turn. “I have faith in becoming the next chief minister in the state," he said.

"The present elections in the state are very important for the people also. The people had given an opportunity to chief minister Siddaramaiah and Yeddyurappa. Now it is my turn. I am also an excellent candidate,” he said.

Asked what will happen if JD(S) fails to secure majority votes, he said that such a question does not arise and added, “The party will secure 122 seats.”

    We Kannadigas do not 'Mahagathbandhan' of BJP-JD(S) like 2006. The dark memories of the past is still fresh in our memories.

    It is because JD (S) chief Kumaraswamy whose betrayal in the past brought the BJP to power due to sympathy votes.

    It is time his party should give 'secular' within he bracket and adopt 'communal'. Perhaps JD(BJP) or 'Kamala' is more appropriate.
    Now time has also come for former Prime Minister Deve Gowda to disown his son soon.

    Chances of this guy becoming CM or supporting BJP to form a coalition government are very high as BJP would have already threatened him of IT raids, corruption related probes, if JDS do not cooperate with them (just like what they did with S M Krishna). That is why he is saying this so confidently.

    It is possible. Remembered the days when HD Deve Gouda became PM and then later the first UPA government had formed, though BJP had simple majority. Cannot rule out Cong-JDS coalition.
    BJP-JDS more unlikely this time.

He is sure of his loss, but to ensure that the money collected by selling the tickets are smuggled out, he has travelled to Singapore. Father and son have looted Karnataka to such an extent I really don't understand why this old Mysore people can't read the deceit of this dirty family

    Most probably Siddu may get the required numbers but, if Tipu's Dirty Soul Haunt Siddu, like Sanjay Khan and Vijaya Mallya, that is the end of Siddu's political carrier hence there is one consolation for Congress and Siddu is they never GLORIFIED the Dirty Sword of Tipu Sultan which was dipped in the Blood of the INNOCENTS!!!!! like Sanjay Khan and FUGITIVE MALLYA!!!!!     JD(S) and kumaraswamy has Shown Unprecended respect To EC Rules and Had Minimum Irregularities Whereas Other some Parties Distributed Liquor,Money,Goldbars,Lapstops(its Shown on national TVS). Shameless Rogues were Carrying Liquors In Tankers and no one to Stop Them. Leaders Of A Political Party were caught Redhanded Distributing Money and no one to stop Them. Whats The Joy in winning such a election With Adopting Fake and Unfair Methods?? There was acute Shortage of Funds In JD(S) and that was a big Blow in getting less seats. I Only hope The people who adopted Unfair Methods are crushed to defeat Tomorrow

    May be difficult to believe, but H D Kumaraswamy stands a very high chance of becoming the next CM.

    If the Congress party does not get the required majority, BJP will certainly rope in JD(S) to form the next Government. JD(S) will be the kingmaker.

    His father Devegowda spoiled Ramakrishna Hedge's political career who was the best CM we ever had in our state and this man is more poisonous than his father. He will fix deal with BJP like 50%50% innings like last time. Truely he is a kingmaker but in a cunning way. Its better to have siddu or yeddi than this dirty politician as our CM.
    Looks like he has spent more this time for election and he wants it back with chakrabaddi x chakra chakra baddi. I feel even devil is also scared of our Indian politicians to lose his seat in hell.
