Bengaluru: Ready to make way for a Dalit CM if high command wants - Siddaramaiah

Mysuru, May 13: I am ready to sacrifice Chief Minister’s post for a Dalit, said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah here on Sunday May 13 in Mysuru.

Speaking to media persons, Siddaramaiah said, "If the high command decides to choose a Dalit CM, I do not have any objection."

He further said, "In 2013 I was unanimously chosen as the chief minister. I took oath as the chief minister of Karnataka on May 13, 2013 and I have completed five years without any blemish on my governance. Congress will come back to power and will win 120 seats comfortably. I will win in both the constituencies."

He also said that he would not be contesting any election anyore. "I will not be part of any electoral politics anymore, but will stay in active politics. I will assist the party in the coming days."

"Election has ended and I contested only because I did not want to send a wrong message by not contesting being a chief minister. I will not criticize anyone, neither B S Yeddyurappa nor Kumaraswamy personally," he added.

"I am extremely tired due to rigorous campaigning and I will rest for next two days," he said.

Off course SM Krishna has put the state in world map in information technology only, you have considered all the fields which was lacked before.
I don't know if BJP come to power 'Indira Canteen' , 'Anna Bhagya' and so many welfares for the pro poor will be continued or rebranded with new names.
Unlike former CM of BJP Yeddyurappa who is on bail from jail in mining kickbacks and denotification , CM Siddaramaiah deserves the most.

Yes, on May 16th, you will read the headlines in the newspaper as below.

The Congress votes inside the EVMs got restless and infuriated by the Sidhu's declaration on May13th that he will forgo his CM post and make way to any Dalith CM, and so, majority of the Congress votes got themselves converted into BJP votes.
Political pundits have not come out with any other convincing reason for utter failure of Congress in the state.

I wanted to vote for Congress But changed my mind few days before voting as I felt Modi was doing a better job in Karnataka. I also feel that BJP would rule Karnataka better . I don't approve Yediyurappa as a good leader. However, I voted for BJP.
