Rain likely in Delhi


New Delhi, May 14 (IANS): It was clear sky in the national capital on Monday morning, the Met said, adding it will get cloudy and the city may receive light rain or drizzle.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 23 degrees Celsius, an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said. The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 37 degrees Celsius.

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 60 per cent.

Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 40.8 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.7 degrees Celsius. Two persons were killed and 18 injured as a severe dust storm hit the city.

The air traffic and Metro service were disrupted on Sunday due to strong winds and rain. Power supply was also affected in many areas in the National Capital Region.
