Words used by PM Modi intimidating, unacceptable: Cong leaders write to Prez

New Delhi, May 14 (DC): Former prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh and senior Congress leader have written to the President of India asking him to caution Prime Minister

Narendra Modi from using unwarranted, threatening and intimidating language against the leaders of the Congress or any other party or person.

In the letter to President Ram Nath Kovind, Congress leaders said, "It is unthinkable that in our democratic polity, the Prime Minister as head of the government would utter words which are threatening, intimidating in content and a public warning to the leaders of members of the main opposition party, the Congress."

The letter referred to Prime Minister Modi's speech during his election campaign in Karnataka on May 6, in which he had said, "Congress leaders, please listen carefully, if you cross you limits, then this is Modi. You will pay."

The letter further stated that the threat held out by PM Modi to the Congress leadership deserves to be condemned. It added, “This cannot be the language of the Prime Minister of a constitutionally governed democratic country of 1.3 billion people. Such discourse whether in public or private is unacceptable conduct.”

“The words used are menacing and intimidating with the intent to insult and provoke the breach of the peace,” the letter also said.

"We would like to state that neither the party nor our leaders will be cowed down by such threats,” said the letter signed by several Congress leaders.

The letter comes days after BJP and Congress leaders accused each other during the campaigning for the recently held Karnataka Assembly polls.

''Maut ka Saudagar'', ''Chaiwala'' - Manmohan Singh not only mute but deaf also. He failed to hear so many abuses of PM Modi by Rahul and Sonia Gandhi and himself too. This person himself was unfit to became PM and now teaching others! A subservient PM is a worst thing to happen to a nation. We, the people have much worst words for Gandhi family and manmohan himself but do not want to go public.

The most unbecoming behavior of a PM. Never in the history of the country has the opposition complained about the behavior of a PM. Modi is unfit to adorn the seat of a PM. It is a shame for a nation to be represented by such a person as the PM.

Feku, Daku and all the 40 chor Bhakts passed out from RSS Shakas of Nagpur Chaddi university. The language they use is the hall mark of that university compared to the language MMS, RG, Sonia Gandhi use who were educated from well respected and disciplined world renowned schools.

Clear sign of Desperation and Frustration on the path of Modi anticipating his downfall with the Karnataka elections results. It is unbecoming of the PM of such a Great Country to indulge in such verbal discourse that lowers the institution of the Prime Minister of India.

Congress now realized that they can't match Modi's Vision to build India. Now they started giving some excuses for their loss in Karnataka election. If we list all comments made by Congress leaders are much more harsh and unacceptable , we as common people understand how Modi was humiliated by Congress with bad words. Congress uttered all bad words and all these word are backfiring them. So they are raising this concerns

The letter says being a Prime Minister he should not use fault language. Not a Single PM in past has done that. You please improve the GK.
Dr. MMS has written a letter to the President of India to say that being a Head of the Government and leading the democratic nation he should know how to address the gathering. It implies for all PM's but unfortunately, only present PM has done that.
We might have different opinions about parties but we respect our PM because he is the leader of the government. When they rule, we need to respect him!
