Sunny morning in Delhi


New Delhi, May 21 (IANS): It was a sunny morning in the national capital on Monday with the minimum temperature recorded at 25 degrees Celsius. The Met forecasts strong winds later in the day.

"The sky will be clear and the city may witness strong surface winds during the daytime," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official told IANS.

The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 42 degrees Celsius and the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 30 per cent.

The maximum temperature on Sunday settled at 40.8 degree Celsius, a notch above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.5 degree Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
