Dalit man tied up, flogged to death in Gujarat; his wife beaten too

Rajkot, May 21 (DC): In a horrific incident, a Dalit man was allegedly beaten to death in Gujarat’s Rajkot on the orders of a factory owner.

A video of the incident shows the Dalit man, identified as Mukesh Vaniya, being tied up and beaten mercilessly with a stick by two men while he keeps crying out in pain. His wife was allegedly beaten up too.

Vadgam MLA Jignesh Mevani tweeted the disturbing video and spoke against the brutal attack.

"Mukesh Vaniya belonging to a scheduled caste was miserably thrashed and murdered by owners in Rajkot and his wife was brutally beaten up," he tweeted, adding a hashtag saying that Gujarat was not safe for Dalits.

An FIR has been registered and five people have been caught, according to NDTV.

According to a report in The Times of India, Kiritsinh Jadeja, assistant sub-inspector, Shapar-Veraval police station said, “Mukesh was a rag picker. When he along with wife Jaya and aunt were picking up waste materials littered outside Radadia Industries, the workers, whose identities are yet to be ascertained, picked up a fight with him, accusing him of theft. They took him inside the factory, tied him up and began beating him.”

Modi government's love for Dalits is restricted to only lip service and to garlanding Dr. Ambedkar's statue only in front of the TV cameras. Outward appeasement of Dalits only for votes. So who is doing vote bank politics ?

This is the true color of BJP, they support RSS and RSS in return does not tolerate the lower castes.
That is why may lower castes want to have a separate religion and they opt to be out of Hinduism, The same happened with Lingayats in Karnataka.
The main reason for this to happen is RSS supported by BJP.
Kindly analyse and condemn this sort of political culture....

Are those human beings or animals? Same treatment should be given to them.

The 'upper' caste majority is always whining. It is God's vengeance against them that they are always frustrated and never happy. This video has come out. How many such videos have never come out?

Hindus blame x, y, z for dividing them. Then why do they have castes?

All are one caste. Everyone's blood is red. When life is under threat and blood transfusion is necessary will a brahmin refuse a dalit's blood if its the only one available?

Don't blame Modiji for all the problems in the country.
Firstly, he is not ruling Gujarat anymore. He is our PM
He need not be referred as Chaiwala till doomsday. He has been long back upgraded as Pakoda wala.
Modi ji has already increased price of petrol to prevent sanghis from burning dalits and minorities. But this humble gesture will never be appreciated by you Italian Khangress people.
