New Delhi, May 22 (IANS): It was a sunny morning in the national capital on Tuesday with the minimum temperature recorded at 26.2 degrees Celsius, normal for the season's average.
The Met forecast strong surface winds for the day ahead.
"The sky will be mainly clear and the city is likely to witness strong surface winds during the day," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 45 per cent.
The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 43 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature on Monday settled at 41.8 degree Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
