3 soldiers injured in J&K explosion


Srinagar, May 28 (IANS): Three Indian Army soldiers were injured on Monday in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district.

Police said suspected militants carried out the IED explosion targeting an army vehicle in Turkawangam village.

"Three army soldiers have been injured in this explosion. They have been shifted to hospital. Additional reinforcements were rushed to the spot," police said.

Reports from the area said the youth have started pelting stones at the security forces.
