Murthy Bjas to lead Conplex International's global operations


New Delhi, May 28 (IANS): Hong Kong-based multinational sourcing company Conplex International on Monday announced the appointment of Murthy Bjas as its Group Director for Business Operations.

Prior to joining Conplex International, which is also the sole sourcing partner for JIVI mobile phones, Bjas had worked at senior positions in companies such as Globacom Nigeria Limited, Vodafone India, Reliance Communications and Bharti Airtel.

"We are delighted to have Bjas on board. I am confident that his experience will add immense value to our agenda and more importantly for our vision in India," C P Batheja, Managing Director, Conplex International, said in a statement.

The JIVI mobile phones started rolling out in India from 2011.

"We have strong ambitions of creating successful business across our group and Bjas is committed to deliver on this" Batheja added.

Bjas brings with him more than two decades of experience to Conplex International. Between 2008 to 2016, he had served as COO for Vodafone's Uttar Pradesh operations, and later went on to become the Country Head of Products and Services for Vodafone India before taking over responsibility as Operations Director.

He had also worked with a several mid-sized companies in the telecom and digital space in the past.
