Gunmen loot cash, gun from J&K bank


Srinagar, May 28 (IANS): Unknown gunmen on Monday looted cash from a bank in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district and fled with a 12 bore gun, police said.

Police said the men took Rs 1.80 lakh and the gun from Srigufwara village branch of the Jammu & Kashmir Bank in the afternoon.

"A search operation has been started to nab the guilty," a police officer said.
