New Delhi, May 29 (PTI): The Congress on Monday alleged that the "sole agenda" of the BJP government is to "extinguish hard-earned savings" of the common people, after CNG price in the national capital were hiked by Rs 1.36 per kg.

CNG will cost Rs 41.97 per kg in Delhi with effect from this midnight, Indraprastha Gas Ltd said in a statement here.

In response to the price hike, Congress communication in charge Randeep Surjewala said on Twitter, "First they burned holes in pockets of the Common Man by increasing the Petrol-Diesel prices for the 15th day in a row! Now CNG-PNG prices also hiked in Delhi! Extinguishing hard-earned Savings of Common People is the sole agenda of the BJP! Dear Modi ji, Enough is Enough! (sic)"

While the CNG price were hiked today as input raw material got costlier because of rupee depreciation and rise in natural gas price, the price of piped cooking gas or piped natural gas (PNG) were not revised.

Petrol and diesel prices were today hiked for the 15th day in a row, taking the cumulative increase this month to the highest in at least five years.
Oil minister Dharmendra Pradhan said the government is planning a "holistic strategy" to find "long-term solution" to spike in petrol and diesel prices triggered by a spurt in international rates.

    Fully endorse the statement.. Further, these blind Bhakts can even go to an extent wherein if PM says please make your property in my name or governments name .. they will happily oblige..

    See the fuel prices.. government is not passing on the benefits to people. Happily enjoying on the taxes.. or else how would the captain travel abroad and hug people around.

    Yes Congress lost hard earned Money (Black Money) in demonetization. Now because of BJPs strict Rules Congress is not able to mint Black Money.

    Under BJP's strict rules 2 Modis, Malya, Chowski ran away with thousands of crores. In four years Feku has worked very hard to increase the number of super rich billionaires from 63 to 136 while 24% population continues to languish below poverty line not to mention the loss of employment due to stupid economic policies and misadventures.
