Mangaluru, Jun 2: With the increased demand for data analysts in the job market across the world, St Agnes College (autonomous), here, is offering a weekend Diploma Course in ‘Big Data Analytics’ from the first week of July. This course will be of 120 hours duration and the classes will be conducted by the experienced resourceful faculty.

Big Data Analytics has emerged as a new, exciting and fast-paced discipline that explores novel, statistical, algorithmic and implementation challenges that emerge in processing, storing and extracting knowledge from Big Data. It also opens the door to many job opportunities, career advancements in the fields of science, technology and corporate sectors. Training in Big Data is essential for many positions in any sector which is highly desirable for information management and decision making process.

The diploma in ‘Big Data Analytics’ aims at equipping the students with adequate theoretical foundation and practical experience leading to subsequent specialization in any area of data analytics and corresponding quantitative research methods.
