Like Hafiz Saeed, Mahagathbandhan trying to stop Modi from becoming PM: Sambit Patra

New Delhi, Jun 4 (TOI): BJP Spokesperson Sambit Patra on Sunday tweeted a video of Hafiz Saeed, saying that like the Pakistan-based terrorist, the 'Mahagathbandhan' too is trying to stop Narendra Modi from becoming PM in 2019.

"It’s not just the not yet formed “Mahagathbandhan” that desperately wants to stop India from having Modi as its PM in 2019…there are others as well…desperately trying for d same! Hafiz Saeed openly saying that he will shed blood of Narendra Modi," he said in his tweet as he posted a video of Saeed.

In the video, Saeed is seen launching a vicious attack on the PM.

“We will not keep quiet. We will rip out your tongue,” Saeed said in the video.

Saeed further cites the construction of hydroelectric projects in Jammu and Kashmir and alleged that India is trying to stop the supply of water to Pakistan.

"You say- you will stop water to Pakistan? You will defeat the objectives of CPEC? You would utter nonsense and want us to keep quiet?" Saeed said.

"If you stop the water, we will stop your breath," he lashed out at the Prime Minister.

Citing Saeed's video, Patra said that the anti-BJP alliance, which formally came into existence after JD(S) was able to form a government in Karnataka with a support from the Congress party, is "similarly" trying to prevent Narendra Modi from becoming the PM in 2019.

The BJP spokesperson later tweeted and said that he is not trying to compare the two, the anti-BJP alliance and Hafiz Saeed.

"Of course this is not a comparison! Modi Ji’s attack on Black Money and corruption is getting the opposition in India on one page while His attack on terrorism & Surgical Strike is pushing Hafeez Sayed to desperation! This proves that the Modi government is moving the right way! (sic)" he added.

    When 69% people have voted against in 2014 also. Winds of change are breezing throughout the country. Patra is worried of his job loss also. He should advise PM to visit more countries before 2019 as afterwords he will not be able to do so.

    Mr. Patra, why should Hafeez Sayeed stop Modi from becoming PM in 2019, and why the Mahaghatbandhan SHOULD NOT stop Modi from becoming one?

    Modi has not inherited the post of the PM from his ancestors.

    He has to go one day. God willing, it may be 2019. India has enough talent to hold the post of the PM, even more capable than the Pradhan Sevak. Your fidgeting shows how insecure you are about 2019 elections and how power hungry you are.

    Sambit Patra needs to be sent to the land of Hafiz Saeed because that man seems to be his hero. Mahagathbandhan is put together by INDIANS. If Modi had not played with the sentiments of Indians, of Hindu people, Mahagathbandhan would not have taken place.

    Sambith Patra should reply to question from Indian Hindus - where is the 'Ram Mandir' promised by Modi during 2014 campaign. If India, without one more Mandir (in Ayodhya) is alright, then why they need Modi as a PM ? Why a man who is ashamed of his education but takes pride in being a 'Chaiwala' ?? Because, he is just a 'Chaiwala' not an educated man.

    A Chaiwala PM who went shopping for tea leaves and sugar worldwide. Because in past four years we get nothing more that we used to get before, rather we live a more expensive life today. Our children passed out from institutions are jobless. They have to still leave the nation in search of jobs. How different life has Modi given to us Indians ?
