New Delhi, Jun 4 (IANS): It was a hot Monday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 30.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, the weather office said.
The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius and an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official told IANS that there was no rains expected during the day.
"The sky will be partly cloudy," he added. The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 59 per cent.
Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 39.7 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 27.7 degrees Celsius.
