Modi has habit of enjoying evil pleasure: Jaipal Reddy

Hyderabad, Jun 5 (DC): Former Union minister S. Jaipal Reddy alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had the habit of “enjoying evil pleasure”, while speaking about the rise in prices of fuel.

He said that after Mr Modi became Prime Minister, excise duty on fuel was increased nine times. Revenue from excise duty during the UPA regime stood at Rs 1.30 lakh crore, which had doubled to Rs 2.7 lakh crore under the Modi dispensation.

Jaipal Reddy said though global crude oil prices had come down in the international market, the Modi government was increasing the price of petrol, diesel and gas. He said the government was getting a profit of Rs 3.7 lakh crore from the sale of petrol, diesel and gas.

Jaipal Reddy said when he was petroleum minister a barrel of crude oil was $120. It had now come down to $75. When crude oil prices come down the government should reduce the burden on the consumer he said and asked how the Modi government had increased the prices.

Jaipal Reddy said there were more than one crore vehicles in Telangana state but the government was not opposing the price hike on Petrol and diesel as it gets more revenue.

He demanded that excise duty and taxes on petrol and diesel should be reduced. Jaipal Reddy said the Prime Minister was “fighting with the middle class people” by increasing the price of fuel and gas. The people were ready to unseat Modi, he said.

Modi is not a seasonal leader He is challenging leader who will not turn back from his good decision.Whatever schemes are introduced by him was for general public not for appeasing particulars. But most of the corrupt fear about him that if he continue for another term they will become beggars.
Now all future beggars, chors are coming together and making alliance to save themselves from becoming jobless people. Their aim is to defeat Modi and become millionors. There is no surprise that If all corrupt politicians and media come together Modi may have setback But people will come together to support Modi and save this country from selfish politicians who has done nothing other than scams.

Mr. Modi is Nations pride. Whatever he does is only for the Nation. Digital and Superpower India. Revenues from GST, Central excise, fuel prices have gone high since BJP came to power and low or middle income people need to struggle to keep pace with income vs. expenditures. He is boasting of providing one Crore houses for the poor people of India but what about employment to the deserving candidates. ?

Not sure if it is Evil Pleasure or Sadastic Pleasure that Modi is deriving by watching the prices of petroleum products hitting the roof but what is becoming glaring is the total Mis management in Governance.

Oil price should not be a worry for the following reasons
1.If Modi govt is collecting more Excise it's going for Development projects
2.The rise in price is partly due to the inflationary rise in the cost of production. We cannot expect the cost of production same as in 2012
3.Modi govt has maintained the Inflation at 4% compared to UPA s 10% .So no need to worry

The prices and inflation has shot up so badly, leave alone the poor, even the middle class families find it difficult to survive,.

Petrol /diesel prices have short up and inflation at the highest. Now the BLIND bakts have started new slogan : All money collected on taxes goes for development.

Last 4 years, there is not a single concrete development. All UPA projects have been inaugurated and taken credit, same like Adhar Card, which is UPA baby.

    Rajesh,

Having pleasure over the win he had 4 years back ?? Do you know the cost of the mushrooms he imports for his own consumption ? Where the cost comes from ? Tea-selling he ended before he became a CM that continued for 10 years and now 4 years PM. How much a tea-seller earns to buy so costly mushrooms for 14 years ?

That too, if he was a full-time tea-seller. My dear, he only visited the shop where his father/brother were doing business, he never sold tea. The tea-selling word was used just to tell people how poor background he came up from to be CM and aspire to be a PM.

Brighter side? In a growing economy like India unlike some foolish scheme like Demonetization is enforced, GDP has always been growing right from 1947 but look at our per capita income ranking in the world, 126! In the meanwhile Modi's achievement has been increasing no of super rich billionaires from 63 (2013) to 136 (2017). In spite of high fuel? Well, it's still 78$ a barrel which was 120 during UPA rule. Get better eventually? Well, eventually we all will die.

You have all the data on internet.. you can compare disaster of UPA 10y and the present era.. be it inflation be it GDP.. well, the extra ordinary finance expert who was with the ministry some way or the other since 1970s, and brought miseries, silently colluding with Italian mafia since 2014 said what? Demz/GST will severely dent GDP.. now that he is proven wrong the new tune is that GDP alculation is wrong! Ollada gandage Mosaralli Kallu.. blame Modi even if right, blame Modi if wrong anyways? Fuel jumped from 29 in vajpaee time to 85 in UPA times.. wow… great.. and this chaiwala time it is still 70s and 80s.. and you have excuse for high crud price during UPA? Do you know how much subsidy they poured on it to reduce retail price? Do you know that subsidy ruined our economy?

The countries which got independence during 1940s are mostly way ahead of us except for isamist nations.. but if poverty index is at 126, who is to be blamed? Modi? Oh yes. Who else..

Eventually we will all die but will born again.. the Atma never dies. There is NO judgement day, earth is not flat.. LOL
