Four, including policeman, die on Yamuna Expressway


Lucknow, Jun 5 (IANS): Four persons of a family, including a police constable, were killed on the Yamuna Expressway on Tuesday when the car in which they were travelling was hit by another vehicle, police said.

Three others were injured in the accident which happened near the Fatiha cut in Farha area. The family was headed to Mathura to perform a religious ritual.

Between January and May, 10 persons have died on this spot and more than a dozen have been injured in road accidents.

The constable, Rajendra Pal Singh, was posted in Aligarh. The others who died were identified as his wife Sridevi, son Narendra Singh and niece Pooja.
