New Delhi, Jun 6 (IANS): It was a partly cloudy Wednesday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 28.5 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, the weather office said.
"The sky will remain partly cloudy during the day with chances of thunderstorm or dust storm accompanied with strong surface winds," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official told IANS.
The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius and the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 66 per cent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature settled at 41.6 degree Celsius, a notch above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 30.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.
