Karkala: NMAMIT, Japanese university to hold study exchange programme

Karkala, Jun 11: ‘Japan-Asia Youth Exchange Programme in Science’ (SAKURA Exchange Program in Science) is a programme for enhancing knowledge exchange between the youths of Asia and Japan who play a crucial role in the field of science and technology through the close collaboration of industry-academia-government by facilitating short-term visits of competent Asian youth to Japan. It is a scholarship programme for undergraduate/graduate students/postdoctoral researchers sponsored by Japan Science and Technology (JST).

NMAMIT had received an invite from Ritsumeikan University, Japan to send representatives to SAKURA Exchange Program in Science 2018.

In connection with this, a team from NMAMIT consisting one faculty and 10 undergraduate students from various departments will participate in SAKURA student exchange programme under the theme ‘Drone Technology and System Integration’ from June 13 to 20 at Ritsumeikan University, Japan.
