Rahul should learn to respect party leaders first, says BJP

New Delhi, Jun 13 (NIE): Launching a scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi for targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and accusing him for being disrespectful towards the senior leaders in the party, the BJP on Tuesday said the Congress president should not forget what his family had done to veteran Congress leaders.

Claiming that Rahul has regularly been “distorting” the image of his party with “ridiculous” comments, BJP MP and head of its national media cell, Anil Baluni said, “While Rahul Gandhi has been trying to advise the BJP on how to respect senior leaders, he should first of all (give) answers about ill-treatment of their own senior leaders — former Prime Minister P V Narsimha Rao and former President of India Pranab Mukherjee. He should be aware how ex-Congress president Sitaram Kesri was thrown out by Sonia Gandhi from an ongoing Congress party meeting.”

“A family which insults, mocks at country’s culture and tradition should first of all retrospect their own conduct,” Baluni said.

BJP only and only looking for some execuses to blame Congress. They still can't get over the victory in Karnataka. Hello leaders of BJP and the people, first learn to respect everyone and receive the respect. If you do good to the people, God will bless you. Please take a look in the states ruled by BJP and you will have lots of work to do there. Take care of the people now before its too late. People now know whom they want to elect to keep the democracy of this country. Stop searching for reasons to attack Congress and start serving the people of this country. God bless.

It has been an unwritten code of the Indian democratic polity that you don’t play politics over health and such other personal and sensitive matters of a leader of another party. That’s why no party ever questioned or publicly talked about the nature of Sonia Gandhi’s illness
