Why 4, entire village involved: BJP MP to pay legal bill of J'khand lynching accused

Godda (Jharkhand), Jun 15(DC): A BJP MP from Jharkhand has decided to pay for the legal expenses of four men accused of killing two others on suspicion of cattle theft in the state. The lawmaker, Nishikant Dubey, said that he believes the four men were being unfairly targeted for mob lynching.

Dubey, who represents the Godda constituency in Parliament, termed it as his personal decision.

"The entire village was involved in the beating. Why are these four people being singled out just because their cattle was stolen?" the parliamentarian told NDTV.

Two Muslim men, suspected to be cattle thieves, were lynched on Wednesday by a vigilante group in the Godda district.

The two were part of a gang of five that came to the village and reportedly stole 13 buffaloes. However, they were caught after some villagers woke up and raised an alarm. Following this, several people gathered and chased the thieves.

"Villagers caught hold of two of the thieves and started beating them due to which they died", said Godda Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajeev Ranjan Singh.

Three others managed to escape.

The victims have been identified as Murtaza Ansari (30) and Sirabuddin Ansari (35) and belonged to a nearby village, about 30-40 km from the crime spot.

One of the victims of the lynching had in the past faced two cases of cattle theft in the neighbouring Dumka district, a police officer said.

Two First Information Reports (FIRs) have been registered in connection with the case and four people have been arrested.

The first FIR was lodged on the complaint of one of the arrested persons, Munsi Murmu, against those killed and others for theft, Superintendent of Police, Rajiv Ranjan told reporters.

The second FIR was lodged on the complaint of Imran Ansari, the father of one of those killed for rioting and murder among other charges, he said.

Besides Munsi Murmu, the other arrested accused in the case are Kameshwar Soren, Kishan Rai and Bhukul Kishku, the police said.

Theft is punishable crime under constitution.
But lynching is an act of cowrdness, anti-national, terrorism, anti-social, and anti-constitutional.

I don't know who are we to tell others what they should eat!?. What is the alternative to chicken !?. Chicken is chicken, beef is beef!. Can we ask North Karnataka people to eat chapathi instead of joolada roti!?. Can we ask people to eat soya instead of meat!?. We have to stop this non sense talk at least now. Let beef be banned but the alternative is buffallo!. Buffallo meat is not beef but which is similar to beef and already allowed in many states. But putting a blanket ban is something fishy!.

Eat beef from cow or buffaloes meat if available in the market...
If not available, then traders should not send people to steal and somehow get it or send people to farmers house to look for it.. Ok

    Sri
Why your religious sentiment die when millions of tons of beef exported by your own Hindus in different forms like beef chunks, beef boneless, beef minced etc.,
Why doesn't your voice come out on these exports ?
You become dumb deaf and blind.

    There is a trick...
See how exporters are getting cows or buffaloes?
They pay handsomely to farmers... They keep only 20% margin and 50% of the money goes to farmers.

But here traders pay 100/- rupees for old cow... Is it ok? Traders earn 20,000/- by selling beef from old cow... Who is intelligent?

Again a childish comment! Why then farmers ready to sell old cows to slaughterhouses but not give to gaushalas!?. We too have sold old cows and these people pay handsomely which no BD fellow will pay!. After All we require money to buy new cows!.
Your other part, exporters if you see are mostly from BJP! Actually gaushalas are the main source of these exporters!. Have you seen the neglect of cows in gaushalas!?. So many cows die due to starvation and no medical facilities!. Is this what is meant by gau maths!?
