Mangaluru: Milagres College holds orientation programme for freshers

Mangaluru, Jun 28: An orientation programme for the new batch of students was organised at Milagres College recently.

Principal Fr Michael L Santhumayor gave brief introduction of the institution, announced the rules and regulations and introduced the chief guest and faculty members. Orientation to the various facilities available at the Milagres College was also briefed by the principal. The security locker system for mobile phones and about the attendance was highlighted by the principal.

Prof Lourduswamy, adjunct faculty was present for the programme.

The chief guest of the programme Pro Manoj Louis, assistant professor at Government First Grade College, Kavoor addressed the newly joined students. He gave a brief orientation about credit based system which includes association meetings, EC/CC system, internal marks etc. In his address to the students, he said about effective students quality must have focus in life, motivate themselves and should not misuse or abuse the technology.

Glanciya Roche, department of Management welcomed and compered the programme . Melwin D’Souza, HOD of FND rendered the vote of thanks.
