Beltangady, Jun 28: Former chief minister and chairman of the coordination committee of the coalition government in the state, Siddaramaiah, who was in Shantivana Naturopathy Centre at Ujire since the last ten days, and who looks refreshed and rejuvenated after rest and recuperation, interacted with the doctors before leaving for Bengaluru here on Thursday June 28.

Siddaramaiah who got discharged on Thursday before leaving for Bengaluru also met party workers, leaders and fans who arrived from various districts.

Siddaramaiah thanked trust head Dr Prashanth Shetty and his team who provided two-week long treatment. He also thanked Dharmadhikari of Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatha temple Dr Veerendra Heggade who came to enquire about his health. Shantivana secretary Seetharam Shetty was present.

Siddaramaiah also interacted with the hospital staff. He also visited the Dharmasthala Manjunatha Temple before leaving.

In-charge of Congress party affairs in Karnataka, K C Venugopal, would be reaching Bengaluru today to meet Siddaramaiah. Leader of the opposition in the Rajya Sabha and veteran Congress leader, Ghulam Nabi Azad, is expected to arrive Bengaluru during the week end. lt is said that these leaders will hold discussions on various issues concerning the party, which has formed government in Karnataka along with JD(S).

As per information, Venugopal will hold discussions with Siddaramaiah. Azad too is slated to hold discussions with Siddaramaiah. The discussions might centre on problems arising in Karnataka out of chief minister, Kumaraswamy's decision to present full budget and Siddaramaiah's insistence that only supplementary budget should be tabled.

In the meanwhile, deputy chief minister, Dr G Parameshwar, has convened a meeting of Congress ministers on Thursday. Reportedly, the issue of budget session would be discussed at this meeting. In all likelihood, Parameshwar might instruct ministers against issuing controversial statements about the government.

A large number of legislators are waiting to hold discussions with Siddaramaiah. Several of them along with two ministers, an MP and a MLC had visited Ujire on Wednesday and held discussions with Siddaramaiah. Veteran leader, Mallikarjun Kharge, also had held discussions with him over phone. Coordination committee meeting is scheduled on June 30, after which Siddaramaiah would be leaving on a visit to his Badami constituency for five days.

In the midst of all these developments, it is said that Deve Gowda went to New Delhi and spoke to Congress leaders over phone. Deve Gowda has said that there is no need to nurse any doubts about the chief minister presenting the full budget on July 5.

Minister, D K Shivakumar, has already said that the coalition government will last five years and that hero worship should be avoided.

Visit to Kurubara Bhavan in Mangaluru

On the way back to Bengaluru from Dharmasthala, Siddaramaiah visited 'Kurubara Bhavan' at Kavoor, Shanthinagar in Mangaluru.

In his short meeting with the office-bearers and the members of Kurubara Bhavan, Siddaramaiah made queries about programmes of the association and gave some tips for their further plans.

The media aslo followed the former CM and asked about his visit and the current political scenario in Karnataka, but he refused to comment and said, "I came to Beltangady for treatment, and now I am going back. If I have anything to speak publicly I will call you."

Former minister Abhayachandra Jain, MLC Ivan D'Souza, former MLA Mohiuddin Bava and other Congress leaders were present.

Rejuvenated to create more trouble for HDK? OR to build the lost ground for Congress? Time alone will tell. All said and done his government was a government which delivered goods and was excellent in performance. Sad the people of the State took advantage but betrayed him at the end. All because of caste politics dominates Indian politics.

    dear sanjjev,
do you know how many people vist temples eating Non-veg & drunk.

I saw many peoples from other districts & other states also with alchohal smell from their body.

But its our faith to keep us clean internally i mean from dirty heart when we visiting this holyplace.
If our heart is good evrything is good.
If we keep dirt in our Atma what is the use.
