Karwar, Jun 29: "For the coming Lok Sabha election, several parties like Congress, Samajwadi, JD(S), BSP, and RJD have come together and formed an alliance with the single aim of taking on Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Crows, foxes, monkeys, wolves etc have joined hands to fight the tiger. It is for you to decide whether tiger should win or some other lesser animals like hyena, in the 2019 Lok Sabha election," said union minister for skill development, Ananth Kumar Hegde.
"We have now been using plastic chairs to sit. This situation has arisen because of Congress party. If BJP was in power for several decades, people would have got silver chairs to sit by now," he stated here on Thursday June 28.
He felt it was outright wrong on the part of a number of parties to have come together by forming mega alliance just for the purpose of unseating Narendra Modi and BJP.
