2 soldiers injured in J&K attack


Srinagar, Jun 29 (IANS): Two soldiers were injured in a militant attack on Friday in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district, police said.

"The militants hurled a grenade and then fired at a patrolling party of 44 Rashtriya Rifles in Ahgam village. The injured soldiers were shifted to a hospital," police sources said.

A search operation is underway to nab the militants.
