We had no hesitation in inviting Pranab Mukherjee, nor had he in accepting it: Mohan Bhagwat

Nagpur. Jul 8 (PTI): RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat today said the Sangh considers affection for all an ideal, and that is why it felt no hesitation in inviting former President Pranab Mukherjee to its program.

“When he (Mukherjee) was with a party, he belonged to them (Congress), but when he became the President of the country, he belonged to the whole country. “We did not have any hesitation in inviting him, and he did not have any hesitation in coming. We all belong to one country, and we all should have `Aatmiyata’ for each other,” Bhagwat said.

The RSS’s decision to invite the former president to address its volunteers last month, and the latter’s decision to accept the invitation, had raised many eyebrows, with some Congress leaders criticising Mukherjee.

Bhagwat was speaking at `Prerna Vidyarthi Sammellan’ organised by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP).

A book on the life of late Dattaji Didolkar, the founder of ABVP, was unveiled on the occasion. Bhagwat extolled Didolkar as a selfless man who was accessible to everyone, and who had ‘aatmiyata’ (affection) towards everybody.

Union minister Nitin Gadkari was also present at the event. Gadkari too spoke about his interactions with Didolkar in his student days. Sunil Ambekar, the national organising secretary of the ABVP, announced on this occasion that the organisation will be starting “Selfie With Campus”, an outreach program, this month, aiming to cover one lakh college campuses.

There is no need to do brainwash for Pranab Mukherjee. He knows what is good and what is bad. There is no harm in going for RSS convention provided he doesn't follow the wrong doings of RSS. There are other terror organisations in India other than RSS and we need to tackle them as well. Why you are silent on Owaisi's outbursts? Is he not fuelling communal tension?

Mr. Owaisi comments is nil compared to ur cheddi leders. Mr. Togadia, bhagwat, modi , prabhakar bhatt delivers hatred and boiling speeches. They are communal minded.
RSS, and it's so called sister organizations is the deadly terror organisations involved in communal riots all over India.
They are safe guarded by cheddi government.

I am not in favor of Togadia/Ramasenes/Bajranddal or any organisation. Don't talk with half knowledge. You speak only if some one speaks against a muslim. For me, all Indians are same whether it's hindu/muslim/christian or any other religion.

Why don't you speak against muslim terrorists all over the world? Many places they go as refugees and involve in bomb blasts. Coming back to Owaisi, I consider him equal to RSS/Bajarangdal or any other terrorist outfit. I don't mind calling a terrorist a terrorist but you don't have guts to call your muslim terrorists as terrorists as you are brainwashed by fantatic muslim orgainsations.

They have no place in islam.
People like you believe much in media , which gives false statements.

    What you call this.
    Who is the real terrorist.
Do you have guts to speak about it.
Do you have guts to condemn it.
Do you have guts to oppose it.
Don't be So bias when your organisations does all those criminal acts.

Ashraf..you comment only when some one talks about muslims and you are first one to talk against hindus. I have read Surendra's comments and he has spoken against RSS/Bajrang Dal/Rama Sene/BJP/Congress/Janata Dal etc. So it's you who is blind and you introspect yourself. You are saying "Those third rated criminals who terrorises are not Muslims" but you don't condemn them. That is the issue.

    Ms Reshmi.
I reckon you don't understand the actual meaning of my statement.
I said. Islam doesn't encourage terrorism.
Those you doesn't it being a Muslim are can never be a true Muslim.
They does all those gibberish things for their own popularity.
Coming back to your statemnt regarding comment against hindus. Can't you see comments by others who criticises Muslims and minorities.
Y dont you condemn or question them.
Y ur showing sympathy to them.
Give respect and take it equally.

Ashraf I don't have any sympathy for terrorists if they are hindu or muslim. For me all are one and the same. It's really annoying that you are commenting only when it comes to muslims those involved in terrorism and your comments are only one sided where as Surendra's comments are always unbiased as he has written against all terrorist activities by hindus or muslims.
