Muslims who keep beard without moustache are extremists, look scary: Shia board chief

New Delhi, Jul 8(Zee News): Uttar Pradesh Shia Central Waqf Board chairperson Waseem Rizvi has sparked a fresh debate. In his latest statement, Rizvi has stated that keeping a beard is a custom in Islam. But those Muslims who sport a beard without a moustache are extremists and have become a face of terror in the country and across the world.

In a video, which has been shared on the social media, Rizwi said, "Muslims who sport a beard without a moustache look scary. Such Muslims are extremists and Islamic fundamentalists and are known to spread terror across the world. The intention to not sport a moustache with the beard is to ignite a sense of fear among people."

Adding further, he said that such Muslim, in the name of Shariyat, interfere in the personal lives of people and issue fatwas, which has nothing to do with Islam. Talking about the recent incident in which a Kerala girl was expelled from a Madrassa for wearing a sandalwood bindi on her forehead, Rizvi said, "Women in this country use bindi or vermillion (sindoor) as part of the custom after marriage. Such sacred customs can never be 'haram'."

He urged the government to file sedition charges against clerics for issuing fatwas that give rise to enmity between different groups. "There is no right to make rules and regulations for the common people by moving aside from the Indian Constitution. Case of sedition must be filed against mullahs (clerics) who issue such fatwas."

It is to be noted that the UP Shia Waqf Board chairman Rizvi was recently accorded a Y plus security by the state government after he claimed threat to his life.

In April this year, Rizvi had urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to increase his security after certain individuals, reportedly associated with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, were arrested by the Delhi Police. Rizvi told the Prime Minister that he was reportedly on the target of extremists due to his stand on the Ram Mandir issue.

That's why BJp prefers this category. Take example of Muqtar Abbas Naqvi and Shahnawaz Hussain. They are kept as Muslim faces in BJp, but are in fact dummies and never represent Muslims. I won't be surprised if all government minority funds are diverted to this category as a payback.

Moderates and non-moderates have the full rights to live peacefully.
It doesn't mean one can ridicule the other in the name of moustache, lungi, colour, cast, food, language, nationality etc.,

Shias are always with BJp. We can give various examples of that. That's why Gopal Shetty of BJp (who recently taught us the new definition of Angrez) also prefers to attend their functions.
Using Shias, BJp wants to show and make false propaganda in the public that Muslims are siding with their party after Modi came to power. But we Muslims know what Shiaism is.

We all aware of the facts that how Iranian regime and Bashar Al Asad with the help of Russia engage in war crimes in Syria. We cant judge who are the real victim here..

But one thing I wish to emphasize here that people like shia board chief will reap one day for what he sowing nowadays on the political grounds ( He has already given security). He is digging graves for his community like other sect leaders did in the past and held responsible for the fate of their respective communities.

You will agree with me that we never come across such division among muslim community before 2014. MODI Govt. crossed all limits of shame.

    @Ramesh,
You may be true in what you said.
Those who are attacking them without reason have nothing to justify the act.

But one can understand what is the intention of these sect people when they call themselves as Muslims but they are whole heartedly against the teachings of Islam. Are they not hypocrites and dummy Muslims.

This is why they are Shias. They want to be called Muslims and at the same time want to go against teachings of Islam.

Top BJP ticket aspirant for the General Election..In between, he needs to be tamed right now. If left, he would destroy the nation and some other Staunch Muslim opponent would pop out and start doing the same. It isnt surprising that he was made Wakf Board chief since Board Chiefs are elected by the State Government.

For Readers who are confused with his Statements,do cross check what he said. You will realise whatever he uttered was rubbish . Since they only exist in Gujarat particularly in Surat, you very well know whose language he speaks. I never heard other Muslims bashing Shias in India, but here it seems he is upto something mischievous. And behold, we all know Shias are staunch supporters of BJP always as they play minority card often to mark their existence in India. But whatever BJPs intention is, general Muslims don't recognise or follow Shias nor fall for their words. So BJP should stop expecting that general Muslims would vote them.
So far in India Shia vs Sunni wasnt even existed, and I hope this doesn't turn into reality.
