Bengaluru, Jul 10: Two youths, who dreamt of playing cricket at the international level, ended up behind the bars for snatching chains.
Naveen Shetty (19) and Balakumar (19) are the two persons who are arrested by the police. They started to snatch chains from the public since eight months on the advice of one of their friends, who asked them to get into this easy way to earn money in order to buy a cricket kit.
Police have been able to crack 22 different incidents of chain snatching that have taken place in the city due to the arrest of this duo. The cops have confiscated 900 grams of gold worth Rs 27 lac and a two-wheeler from the accused.
