Returning home after gangrape, 14-yr-old raped again by 3 in Madhya Pradesh

Chhindwara, Jul 11 (PTI): A 14-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped twice in a span of 24 hours in Madhya Pradesh's Chhindwara, police said on Tuesday.

Five men have been arrested in the case.

The girl left her house on the evening of July 6, and when she did not return, a complaint was lodged at the Kundipura Police Station the next day, said Additional Superintendent of Police Niraj Soni.

Police found the girl wandering in a disoriented state in Mahua Tola area on July 8, he said.

She told police that a man, identified as Mohit Bharadwaj, 22 persuaded her to go with him on his motorbike to the house of Rahul Bhonde, 24, where both of them raped her, the Additional Superintendent of Police or ASP said.

The duo let her go the next day. When she was returning home, three more men, identified as Bunty Bhalavi, 23, Ankit Raghuvanshi,25 and Amit Vishwakarma, 21 accosted her, took her back to Bhonde's house, and allegedly raped her, he said.

Police formed a special team to search for the accused and arrested all five of them, the ASP said.

The accused have been charged under IPC sections 376 (D) (gang-rape), 506 (criminal intimidation), 363 (kidnapping), 342 (wrongful confinement) and also under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

Further probe is on, the Additional Superintendent of Police said.

It is high time children are introduced to law along with moral science subjects. And even be taught to follow these morals in life and decision making... and not just study for the sake of studies and getting grades.

Looks like the BJP Government is in denial. Modi never opens his mouth on women atrocities. They don't want to face the truth.

BJP must get out of its shell once in a while and see how countries are ridiculing us these days.

No doubt about international report that, we are most dangerous nation on women's safety.
Promoting violence may be the reason for rapid increase in crimes.
Nothing is done to prevent such incidents.
Contrary, some of our union Ministers are garlanding the criminals, open support!

Some people are very quick to comment if political party or religion is involved (well, it is involved here but the majority religion) but otherwise close their eyes for anything happens in India just like their master. I don't remember a word from the great leader about rapes and lynching. Menaka Gandhi is more interested in gifts to women but not a single word about this attack on women from her. Instead the lawmakers either themselves present for rape or lynching or they openly support. Blind bhakths always happy with all these happening, may be until it happens to them or their loved ones.

Rapes are going on without any hindrance and fear of law of the land.
Where are religious preachers, responsible people, our Judiciary and Modi Government?

Enough is enough. P.M. Should come out openly and declare total war on Rapists. India's gratings on Women safety & security is further going up.

    # 1 to # 1 A. People must remember what/how Modi Sarkar is performing in our Country?

What is the use making India digital, cashless, Bullet train era and boasting day in day out?

Countries image has gone to dogs. India’s women are not getting what they deserve. Economy, currency value, employmet, oil & commodity prices ascending without any hesitation. All are oriented towards 2019 LS elections. Too bad or bad to worse.

Ravishankar Prasad, was saying crime against women is a social issue!. Looks he made the statement seeing these things happening regularly in BJP ruled states!!!. Day before yesterday ABVP had made students boycott classes in Kundapur against a rape in Madsaur! Hope they will again protest against this rape again in MP!
